Government to bring pressure to bear on
Hong Kong to make further concessions on the
score of their being necessary if the lease
of the New Territories is not to be prematurely
given up.
6. I am to add that Mr. Southern, the
Colonial Secretary of Hong Kong, is now in
this country and is available for consultation
on this and other Hong Kong questions if
desired.
